T-Roc The DJ, “The Cat with the Hat”, is a DJ, Songwriter, Producer, Musician, Rapper, Singer, from the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. Since his beginnings, Music of all genres have been an important Passion for T-Roc. Being Inspired by artists and DJs such as: Erykah Badu, Slick Rick, Slim Thug, All of “Swisha House”, Paul Wall, Little Richard, DJ Quik, Doug E Fresh, Biz Markie, Ray Charles, 50 Cent, T.I., 2Pac, Jamie Foxx, and many more, he began writing songs at an early age on and old “IBM” Computer. T-Roc grew up singing in church choirs and at the age of 14, started playing drums for various churches in the city; but it wasn’t until his High School years at both Townview Magnet Center and Kimball High School where he learned to make and read music. By Sophomore year (2010), T-Roc The DJ took a real interest in Radio, Television, Production, and DJing. Since then, T-Roc The DJ has been Entertaining various crowds and DJing and various venues and events all over the city.
